Welcome to My Online Studio — A Collection of Original Art Inspired by Story, Emotion, and Imagination

Born in Nigeria and raised in Benin City, I am a self-taught multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice is shaped by the cultural and artistic environment in which I grew up. Surrounded by sculptors, painters, performers and other creative practitioners, I developed an early appreciation for the expressive possibilities of art and for the ways in which culture, environment and human experience can be translated into visual form.

After studying Art Education and Administration at Delta State University, I relocated to the United Kingdom, where I have continued to develop my artistic practice. Working across painting, sculpture, textiles, fashion and performance, I explore different materials and forms as a means of understanding and expressing human experience.

My current painting practice moves between figuration and abstraction, with the human figure often serving as a starting point. I fragment, distort and layer forms to explore the relationships between harmony and chaos, movement and stillness, light and shadow, colour and form. Influenced by Expressionism and Abstraction, I work intuitively with oil, acrylic and watercolour, allowing spontaneous mark-making and experimentation to shape the final image.

My figures are rarely intended to represent a single individual. Instead, they become vessels for emotion, memory, identity and shared human experience. Through fragmented bodies, overlapping forms and bold contrasts of colour, I seek to create a visual tension in which recognition and abstraction exist simultaneously.

My practice continues to evolve through experimentation across different media and disciplines. I am interested in creating work that invites viewers to look beyond immediate recognition and engage with the emotional and psychological possibilities within the image.
